JEL Adjuster Boot Camp

In 5 days, JEL will take you from being a novice to writting a professional claim, regardless of your current knowledge. Below is a brief description of JEL's Adjuster Boot Camp:
Day 1: Discuss adjusting elements and introduce Xactimate 27.
Day 2: Visit Lowe's Home Improvement to touch, see & feel building materials. Discuss how to handle damages, property owners and the steps of the inspection.
Day 3: Visit project house with mocked-up hurricane damage, investigate and adjust the property.
Day 4: Discuss file maintenance, pitfalls and how to progress in the adjuster career field, including how to build a resume'. Visit from an adjusting firm that is interested in JEL's Adjuster Boot Camp graduates.
Day 5: Tie together everything learned over the course of the week. Students work to fine tune their newly learned skills. |

Adjuster Boot Camp Course Information |

The Adjuster Boot Camp is an intense 50 hour course designed to take you from beginning to end of a catastrophic claim. Whether you are an aspiring adjuster, experienced contractor or real estate investor, this course will increase your skill levels and marketability.

Prerequisites |
- Willingness to be the best adjuster you can be.
- State adjusting license and experience not required.
- Licensing is not required for the class, but is strongly recommended to be considered for work through JEL’s partnered companies.
- Licensing course can be taken either before or after the boot camp course.
- Ability to climb a one-story roof.

JEL Training, LLC will NOT install Xactimate for any student during the course. Students must arrive with software pre-installed. Please install Xactimate 27 at least 2 business days before the class. This new version of Xactimate 27 often has installation problems that requires you to call Xactimate during business hours to resolve. This can take minutes to hours depending on the issue. We cannot take class time for this.
- Click Here and download demo. Xactimate needs to confirm your system has certain items on it that the program needs. It will download anything it needs.
- You will have to have a valid credit card, however they do not charge anything to it or keep the information.
- The download may take an hour and a half or longer - this is a large program file make sure you are on a high speed connection.
- Do not run the program, rather save it to a location on your desk top. After the download is complete, run the program from the location you saved it to on your desk top.
- When download is complete, click on the Xactimate 27 Icon and go through the install process. The demo key will be emailed to you from Xactware. You may need to call Xactware to get the process completed. DO NOT UNINSTALL IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM - CALL XACTWARE! (800) 424-9228
- Make sure you can open and use the program!

Refund Policy |
Boot Camp Deposit is non refundable due to our policy of keeping the classes small. There is minimal chance of filling a seat that is cancelled. Deposits can be used toward a future class. |
